Location & Directions

If you’re traveling from Johannesburg (JHB) or Pretoria (PTA), the most convenient route to Nkuhlu Tented Camp starts by taking the N4 Highway towards Mbombela. Once you reach Mbombela, continue on the R40 road towards Hazyview. From Hazyview, it’s just a short drive where you’ll need to turn onto the R536 road towards Paul Kruger Gate on the Skukuza Road.

Once you’ve entered Paul Kruger Gate, keep driving straight on Skukuza Road, also known as the H1-2. After a little while, you’ll come to a point where you need to make a right turn onto Skukuza-Lower Sabie Road, which is the H4-1 route leading to Nkuhlu Tented Camp.

Distance from Kruger Gate to Nkuhlu Tented Camp – 35km (1 hour, 15 Minutes)

Distance from Skukuza Rest Camp to Nkuhlu Tented Camp – 22km (45 mins)

Distance from Skukuza Airport to Nkuhlu Tented Camp – 25km (45 minutes to 1 hour)
